About Our Company

 

    Mickey's Marine Inc. was started in 1984 by Mickey Grove Sr. and his wife Judy Grove as a boat and car repair shop. Being with Toyota for 15 years, he serviced foreign cars as well as boats. We outgrew the property we rented and purchased land on Main St. in La Marque and opened our new building in 1985.

 

    Three years later, our marine business grew to where we no longer could do car repairs anymore. We expanded our marine business to repairs and selling parts and used boats and motors.

 

    In the summer of 1990, after graduation from La Marque High School Mickey Jr. came into the business full time to help run the business. We expanded our repairs all makes and models of outboard motors, and fiberglass repair, and trailer repair.

 

    In 2001 we had the opportunity to purchase a larger facility on the corner of HWY 3 and Main Street 2202 4th Avenue, we took on Tohatsu Outboard Motors and still have room to expand our business even more. We now sell Honda 60 -225 4 stroke outboards.
